All time is billed in 6-minute increments while work is being performed.

Virtual assistants generally charge by the hour with rates ranging from $36.00 (for such services as virtual reception) to $50.00 per hour (for event/conference planning). All chargeable services are billed in 6-minute increments. Rates displayed on this web site are charged in Canadian dollars (CAD) or U.S. (USD) (for clients outside of Canada). Time is tracked and reported to you monthly or bi-weekly by FreshBooks online time tracking and billing.

You only pay for the services that you need (and for the time you require). If your work project is small, paying by the hour is generally the best idea. However, for larger projects or ongoing work, it is recommended that you think about a monthly retainer package. Purchasing a package offers you a discount on the average hourly rate. (Note: Hours purchased via a monthly retainer package must be used within the month for which it has been purchased. Hours will not roll over to the following month.)

Please note that Daily Planet Virtual Services requires that 5% G.S.T. be charged on all invoiced services (Canadian customers only).
